

Bitsbox.com rocks it out!
Started as a Kickstarter in 2015, Bitsbox.com is awesome. Students learn by typing real lines of code. Though I’m not a programmer and don’t claim to be, I’ve noticed that the kids flock to this when a choice is an option for programming. For about $20 a month, you can get a book that has about 20 different apps to program. The awesome thing about it is that you can test them out on your own iPad. Makey Makey, Scratch and 4th Grade
Students in fourth grade are gearing up to razzle and dazzle parents soon. For the past month, students have been hacking into other projects, creating game boards and tweaking their projects. Students will have an opportunity to showcase their project, game controller and Scratch project during their computer class during the week of Dec. 8.
